In this internship, you'll engage in public outreach and meet with congressional representatives to advocate for poverty reduction. Your efforts will support legislative initiatives, fundraising campaigns, and public events, making a difference in global poverty issues. You can adjust your schedule to complete the internship in a time frame that works best for you.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead outreach efforts within your state and district
• Meet with local Congress members and government officials
• Represent The Borgen Project at various events
• Assist in fundraising and create personal campaigns
• Mobilize citizens to support poverty legislation
Requirements:
• No prior experience necessary
• Passionate about fighting poverty and advocating for change
• Open to college credit options
• Flexible starting date with monthly program cycles
