Are you an experienced Bid Writer with a passion for helping charities and community organisations thrive? Do you have a proven track record of securing funding from trusts, foundations, and statutory funders? If so, we’d love to hear from you.

At Ability Consultants, we support charities, CICs, schools, social enterprises, and community groups across the UK to secure vital funding and deliver lasting impact. Our clients trust us to provide expert fundraising support, helping them focus on what they do best while we secure the resources they need to grow and succeed.

The Role
  • Research and identify grant opportunities aligned to client needs.
  • Write compelling, high-quality funding applications.
  • Develop persuasive cases for support and funding proposals.
  • Work closely with clients to gather information, data, and impact evidence.
  • Manage application pipelines, deadlines, and reporting requirements.
  • Build positive relationships with funders and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to successful fundraising strategies across a diverse client portfolio.

  • Proven experience writing successful trust, foundation, or statutory funding applications.
  • Excellent written communication and storytelling skills.
  • Strong research and analytical abilities.
  • Experience managing multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously.
