Youth Development Lead – Employability H&SC (Lancashire)

Salary: £25,092.00 – £28,783.00 depending on skills, knowledge and experience
Location: Field based with an expectation of two days a week in our Burnley office.
Responsibilities- Support a group of young people through one‑to‑one support, group sessions, and guidance to facilitate their transition to employment outcomes.
- Deliver employability sessions directly to young people, both in person and virtually via MS Teams.
- Travel to program delivery sites and program visits to ensure smooth operation of activities.
- Collect, maintain and report accurate records of information and data on young people, volunteers and partners to comply with funding contract requirements.
- Act as the main liaison for the delivery of employment support, coordinating with employers, job centres and HSC employer partners including the NHS.
- Provide leadership and support to delivery partners and service providers to ensure high quality outcomes for young people.
- Assist with travel expenses and find solutions for young people’s other commitments where necessary.
- Lead the local action plan to support Equality, Diversity and Inclusion goals and create an inclusive environment.
- Take on additional responsibilities as required, including deputising when the need arises.
- 30 days annual leave entitlement, plus bank holidays; office closure between Christmas and New Year.
