Location: Glasgow - Hybrid working with at least 3 days in the Glasgow Centre each week

Youth Development Lead – EnterpriseYour mission is to be the driving force behind young entrepreneurs' success stories. The Enterprise programme’s aim is to support young people interested in self‑employment to explore and test their ideas, write business plans and start their own businesses or achieve alternative outcomes in education, training, volunteering or work.
You will be the guiding light for a caseload of young people, helping them successfully launch their business ideas and work towards those vital business start targets. Travel will be part of your role, exploring your area, building meaningful connections across the local business community, and attending or delivering local events.
- Craft robust and viable business plans including cash flow forecasts, personal survival budgets, and sector‑specific insights.
- Provide positive and constructive feedback to help ideas flourish.
- Manage funding applications.
- Maintain clear, accurate records that track each young person’s journey, ensuring compliance with funding requirements and demonstrating the programme’s impact.
- Contribute to building an inclusive environment where every young person feels seen, valued, and supported, aligning with the Trust’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion commitments.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and a passion for inspiring change.
