About the roleWe’re looking for a Community Connector, Boston to be visible and present across local communities, groups and networks. You will build trusted relationships, understand local needs, connect people and organisations to wider opportunities, and help identify community champions who can support the Boston place programme.
What you’ll be doing- You'll spend your time meeting people, listening to communities, building trust and helping connect people with opportunities that make a difference.
- Spend significant time in Boston, attending local events and networks to understand emerging needs, challenges and opportunities.
- Connect organisations and community champions to Active Lincolnshire’s wider opportunities, support and learning.
- Share local knowledge, contacts and opportunities with colleagues and external partners to strengthen delivery.
- Sound understanding of, and commitment to, Boston communities.
- Excellent communication and people skills, with confidence building relationships in local places.
- Ability to be flexible and responsive according to local need.
- Commitment to being visible and present in Boston, including occasional evening and weekend activity.
- A values-led approach and clear commitment to inclusion and reducing barriers to participation.

£26,000 - £35,500 pa (dependent on skills and experience)
Hours37 hours per week (flexible hours considered)
25 days annual leave, plus all bank holidays and 3 days during the Christmas week. ‘Celebration day’; additional day for an occasion / birthday / event (subject to annual review).
