Programming Coordinator Assistant

Position: Programming Coordinator Assistant Hybrid Role
Join The Bentway as a Programming Assistant and help shape Toronto's cultural landscape with public programs and community initiatives.

This role offers a hybrid working environment, blending remote and on-site responsibilities.

This position is contract-based for eight weeks beginning July 6, 2026, with responsibilities including coordination of events, outreach, and engaging diverse audiences. In collaboration with the Programming team, you’ll assist in delivering impactful artistic projects and community programs that innovate public space usage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate planning of public programs and events

• Engage communities through outreach activities

• Support logistical coordination for programs

• Assist with setup and visitor management during events

• Keep accurate records and assist in reporting

Requirements:

• Excellent organizational and writing skills

• Interest in arts and community programming

• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications

• First Aid/CPR-C certification is a plus

This role allows you to connect the community through arts while developing essential skills in programming and event coordination.
