The Voluntary Sector Gateway is seeking volunteers to facilitate weekly telephone befriending groups for blind and partially sighted individuals. Volunteers will connect participants and ensure comfortable conversations. The role can be done from home, requiring good IT skills.
Volunteers must commit to facilitating at least three groups per week, with each lasting one hour. Individuals aged 18-25 may also claim Saltire Awards hours for their participation.
