Contribute to the Faculty of Engineering in Edmonton as a Development Associate. This hybrid role combines remote work and in-person collaboration to enhance donor engagement and fundraising.
You will report to the Assistant Dean of Development and work with faculty leaders to build robust relationships with potential donors. The successful candidate will engage with individuals, corporations, and foundations, aligning their interests with the Faculty’s philanthropic initiatives. Responsibilities include developing funding proposals and negotiating financial support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build strong relationships with potential donors and partners
• Work with faculty on collaborative fundraising strategies
• Create compelling proposals to attract funding
• Negotiate and structure donations for the Faculty
• Promote alumni and community participation in initiatives
Requirements:
• Proven experience in fundraising or development fields
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Skilled at engaging senior leadership and stakeholders
• Familiarity with philanthropic strategies in engineering
• Comfortable in a dynamic hybrid work environment
