Remote Internship in Political Advocacy

Location: Georgetown

Become a Political Affairs Intern with The Borgen Project and partake in impactful advocacy work remotely. This part-time, unpaid internship focuses on political engagement and community mobilization.

The Borgen Project is looking for passionate interns for a 12-week, 12-hour weekly commitment. You'll lead outreach efforts, represent the organization at events, and engage with political stakeholders to support anti-poverty initiatives. You can also adjust your timeline to fit your availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead outreach efforts within your local community

• Meet with political officials in your district

• Represent The Borgen Project at community gatherings

• Assist in creating fundraising campaigns

• Mobilize individuals for advocacy on critical legislation

Requirements:

• A strong passion for advocacy and social change

• No prior experience required

• Excellent verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently
