Major Gifts Manager

Position: Major Gifts Manager - Hybrid Role
Advance children's rights with Plan International Canada as a Major Gifts Manager in a hybrid capacity based in Calgary. This role focuses on building relationships with major gift donors and securing impactful contributions.

As part of the Philanthropy team, the Major Gifts Manager is responsible for cultivating a robust portfolio of major philanthropic donors. Candidates will engage primarily with $10,000+ donors while also developing relationships with mid-tier donors. Your efforts will directly support important initiatives for gender equality and children's rights through effective donor stewardship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cultivate and solicit major gifts from individual donors

• Engage long-time donors and inspire deeper giving

• Develop proposals for priority projects and appeals

• Create effective solicitation strategies tailored to donors

• Maintain accurate donor records and profiles

Requirements:

• Experience in fundraising or grant writing

• Strong networking and negotiation skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems

• Ability to travel nationally or globally as needed
