We are excited to be looking for a Relationship Manager – Philanthropy to join the leading national children’s charity, Barnardo’s, and play a key role in driving high‑value fundraising.

Working collaboratively across fundraising and service teams, you will manage a portfolio of high‑value supporters while proactively identifying and securing new philanthropic opportunities. You will lead on cultivating relationships, making compelling asks, and delivering tailored engagement that inspires donors to support impactful projects that change childhoods and lives.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of major donor relationships, build a strong pipeline of prospects, and contribute to an ambitious fundraising strategy that makes a tangible difference for children and young people across the UK.

To be successful as the Relationship Manager – Philanthropy, you will need:

• Proven experience in major donor fundraising or high‑value relationship management
• A track record of securing five‑figure (and ideally six‑figure) gifts
• Strong relationship‑building skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders
