The opportunity has arisen for a Trusts, Foundations & Philanthropy Officer to join our Fundraising & Marketing team. As a Trusts, Foundations & Philanthropy Officer, you will:
- Be responsible for developing and securing financial support from a diverse portfolio of charitable trusts, foundations, statutory funders, lottery funders and philanthropic supporters.
- You will identify , cultivate, apply to and steward funders and donors, securing both restricted and unrestricted income to support Age Scotland's vital work.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation, you will develop compelling funding proposals, applications, impact reports , and cases for support, ensuring that funders and donors understand the difference their support makes.
- Living our values, you will play a vital role in delivering sustainable income growth and supporting Age Scotland's ambitious plans for the future .
If you're an excellent communicator with strong relationship-building skills and experience of securing income through trusts, foundations or philanthropy, we'd love to hear from you.
The post will be Scotland-based, with a blend of office (Edinburgh-based) and home working. As a hybrid role the intention is that office-based and external facing work will constitute 40% of working time over each month.
