About the role

Do you want to help make your community a better place to live? Do you want to see your values translated into practical change? And do you want to play a leading part in building one of the Liberal Democrats’ most exciting local and parliamentary campaigns?

Dan Boatright-Greene and the Worcestershire Liberal Democrats are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and self-motivated Campaigns Organiser to help us build the campaigning operation we need to win.

West Worcestershire is a strategically important area for the Liberal Democrats. You will play a leading role in our campaign to elect Dan Boatright-Greene as our new MP and in next year’s elections to the new unitary authority, where we are looking to make significant progress.

This role will have a particular focus on West Worcestershire and agreed priority seats for the May 2027 elections
, while helping to build sustainable campaigning capacity across the wider Local Party.

You will work closely with Dan, election agents, councillors, campaign teams and volunteers to turn our campaign plans into action.

That will include organising voter-contact activity, recruiting and supporting volunteers, producing effective campaign literature, helping coordinate delivery networks, developing our digital campaigning, and making sure campaign data is collected and used effectively.

We are looking for someone with exceptional communication and people skills, who enjoys making things happen. You will be comfortable taking responsibility, juggling competing priorities and keeping campaigns moving, while creating a welcoming and positive environment for volunteers.

This is an opportunity to take on substantial responsibility within a growing campaign operation, develop your campaigning and campaign-management skills, and help build the organisation needed to elect more Liberal Democrats locally and win West Worcestershire at the next General Election.

Key responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver campaigning activity across West Worcestershire and target seats, including canvassing, action days, voter contact and literature delivery.
  • Lead, train and support volunteers
, building confident teams able to run campaigning activity independently.
  • Grow and sustain the volunteer base
, ensuring new volunteers are recruited, welcomed, matched to suitable tasks and kept engaged.
  • Coordinate campaign communications
, producing and distributing literature, identifying strong local messages and supporting digital content.
  • Manage campaign data
, ensuring accurate entry, supporting volunteers doing data work and using data to inform targeting.
  • Support election agents and campaign teams
, especially during election periods, while ensuring all activity follows electoral and data‑protection rules.
  • Contribute to wider organisational work
, including meetings, training, limited fundraising support and collaboration with councillors, candidates and officers.
  • Build long‑term campaigning capacity
, strengthening teams, expanding activity, and helping the Local Party win future…
