Church and Community Relationships Coordinator (Greater Manchester)
The Church and Community Relationship Coordinator role focusses on inspiring, resourcing and activating churches and individuals to respond to the biblical mandate to care for children and families.
You will nurture positive relationships with Church leaders, networks and individual Christians and develop opportunities to speak in churches and will share a compelling message of hope, compassion and hospitality. You will help churches deepen and widen their engagement with children and families in their own communities as they create communities of care, hospitality and belonging. Ultimately, the CRC role is about activating the Church as we work together to provide a holistic solution which prevents children from entering the care system, and increases the number of safe and nurturing homes through fostering, adoption and supported lodgings.
The role also includes the recruitment and development of a team of volunteer Church Champions across your area who will enable us to maximise our vision and multiply our impact.
You would work as part of the North West team which includes staff who are located across Manchester, Merseyside, Lancashire and Cumberland. You will need to be able to easily travel and work across Greater Manchester in addition to occasional travel across the North West.
This is a permanent contract. Subject to continued partnership funding.
Part time 0.6 – 0.6 (22 hours 30 minutes)
Based out of our Manchester or Merseyside office. (Flexibility to work from home up to 40% of the week)
As you may have already heard, in September 2024 we announced that Safe Families had merged with Home for Good.
