Donor Relations Officer

Our client seeks a proactive and personable Donor Relations Officer to join their team in Port Elizabeth . You will play a key role in sustaining and growing our client's donor base.

• Develop and implement strategies for donor stewardship and retention.
• Manage a portfolio of individual donors, cultivating relationships through personalized communication.
• Organize and execute donor engagement events, both in-person and virtual.
• Prepare reports on donor activity, campaign performance, and fundraising results.
• Respond promptly and professionally to donor inquiries and requests.
• Collaborate with the fundraising team to identify new donor prospects and engagement opportunities.

• Proven experience in donor relations, fundraising, or a similar client-facing role.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Proficiency in donor management software and CRM systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing communications and records.
• A Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
