About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic and inspiring Youth Development Officer to join their fully remote team. This role is dedicated to empowering young people by providing guidance, support, and opportunities for personal growth and skill development. You will design and implement engaging programs and initiatives, primarily through digital platforms, to foster positive youth outcomes. Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and manage youth development programs and activities, primarily online.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to young people, helping them set and achieve personal and educational goals.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions on topics such as leadership, life skills, and career readiness.
- Connect youth with resources, opportunities, and networks relevant to their development.
- Monitor participant engagement and program effectiveness, collecting feedback for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to enhance youth outreach and support services.
- Bachelor's degree in Youth Development, Social Work, Education, or a related field.
- Previous experience in youth work, mentoring, or program coordination.
- Strong understanding of adolescent development and the challenges faced by young people.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and digital literacy skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage projects remotely, and foster positive relationships with youth online.
- Proficiency in using virtual collaboration tools and educational platforms.
