Program Manager - Youth Development

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate Program Manager to lead their youth development initiatives remotely, serving the Port Elizabeth area. This role involves designing, implementing, and overseeing programs aimed at empowering young people through education, skills training, and mentorship. You will play a key role in fostering positive outcomes for youth, connecting them with opportunities that enhance their future prospects.

• Develop and execute strategic plans for youth development programs, aligned with organizational goals and community needs.
• Manage program budgets, resources, and staff/volunteer teams effectively from a remote setting.
• Establish and maintain partnerships with schools, community centers, and other organizations serving youth.
• Design and oversee the delivery of engaging and impactful youth activities, workshops, and mentorship opportunities.
• Monitor program performance, collect data, and generate reports on outcomes and impact.
• Ensure program compliance with funding requirements and organizational policies.

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Education, Community Development, or a related field.
• A Master's degree is an advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, with a focus on youth development or related fields.
• Proven track record of successfully designing, implementing, and managing programs.
• Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills, effective in a virtual environment.
• Experience with grant writing, fundraising, and budget management.
• Proficiency in virtual collaboration tools and project management software.
