About the RoleThe Company is seeking a Vice President, Revenue & Strategic Partnerships to play a pivotal role in advancing its long-term financial sustainability. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and execution of an integrated, diversified, and partnership-driven revenue strategy that aligns with the organization's 10-year strategic vision. This includes a shift from traditional fundraising to a more resilient revenue mix, encompassing major gifts, philanthropy, partnerships, and institutional funding.
The VP will also be tasked with ensuring clear revenue growth pathways, multi-year forecasting, and financial sustainability, while championing an equity-informed and community-centered approach to resource mobilization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in senior fundraising and leadership roles, with deep expertise in major gifts and relationship-based fundraising. They must demonstrate strong strategic, financial, and systems-thinking capabilities, as well as exceptional relationship-building skills.
A commitment to the values of the organization, including diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-oppression, is essential. The role requires a leader who can work closely with the President, CEO, and the Board, and who is adept at fostering a culture of trust, accountability, and innovation. Experience in working with a non‑profit Board of Directors and a CFRE designation are considered assets.
The candidate should be prepared to work in a remote‑first environment and be willing to travel as needed.
