About the Role
Our client, a forward-thinking non-profit organization, is seeking a talented and experienced Remote Grant Writer to join their team. This fully remote position is critical for securing essential funding to support our client's vital work in the Charity & Voluntary sector. You will be responsible for researching grant opportunities, developing compelling proposals, and managing the grant application process from start to finish.
The ideal candidate is a skilled wordsmith with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling, able to articulate the organization's impact and needs effectively to potential funders. This role offers the flexibility to work from anywhere while making a substantial contribution to the organization's sustainability and growth.
- Research and identify potential grant funding opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
- Write, edit, and proofread high-quality grant proposals, applications, and reports.
- Collaborate with program staff to gather necessary information and data for grant submissions.
- Manage the grant submission process, ensuring all deadlines and requirements are met.
- Maintain grant tracking systems and provide updates on application status and funding outcomes.
- Proven experience as a Grant Writer , with a strong portfolio of successful proposals, particularly within the non-profit or Charity & Voluntary sector.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and research skills.
- Proficiency in grant research databases and online application portals.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills for a fully remote work environment, ideally located near Benoni, Gauteng .
