About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic Community Engagement Facilitator for a contract position, operating remotely. This role is essential for building bridges between the organization and the communities it serves, particularly within the Eastern Cape region. You will be responsible for designing and implementing strategies to foster active participation, gather community feedback, and promote social programs through various online channels. • Develop and execute remote strategies for engaging diverse community groups.
• Organize and facilitate online forums, webinars, and virtual community meetings.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with community leaders and stakeholders via digital platforms.
• Gather community input and feedback on proposed projects and services through surveys and online discussions.
• Promote community participation in social initiatives and events.
• Document engagement activities and report on outcomes to project stakeholders.

• A background in Community Development, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience in community engagement, facilitation, or outreach, preferably with remote components.
• Excellent virtual communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in using online collaboration tools, social media, and digital engagement platforms.
• Strong understanding of community dynamics and development principles within the Eastern Cape context.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet project deadlines remotely.
