Youth Program Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is seeking a vibrant and dedicated Youth Program Coordinator to develop and manage engaging programs for young people in Paarl . This role is centered on creating safe, supportive, and enriching environments where youth can develop skills, explore interests, and build positive relationships. You will work closely with youth, community stakeholders, and volunteers to ensure programs are relevant, impactful, and meet the needs of young people in the Western Cape .

The ideal candidate is energetic, creative, and passionate about youth empowerment and development.

• Design, implement, and evaluate youth-focused programs and activities in Paarl .
• Recruit, train, and supervise program staff and volunteers working with youth.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with youth participants, their families, and community partners.
• Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all youth participants.
• Manage program budgets, track attendance, and report on program outcomes.
• Organize special events, workshops, and recreational activities for youth.

• Experience in youth work , program coordination, or education.
• Strong understanding of adolescent development and youth engagement strategies.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to organize and facilitate group activities and events.
• Passion for working with young people and a commitment to their development.
• Relevant qualifications in Youth Development, Social Work, or Education are advantageous.
