This hybrid role requires a blend of remote work and occasional in-person engagement in Durban. You will be responsible for recruiting, training, scheduling, and supporting volunteers who contribute to our client's essential services. • Recruit, screen, and onboard new volunteers, conducting thorough orientation and training sessions.
• Develop and manage volunteer schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for all programs and events.
• Provide ongoing support and supervision to volunteers, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate volunteer records and track volunteer hours and contributions.
• Organize volunteer appreciation events and initiatives to recognize their valuable contributions.

• Previous experience in volunteer management, HR, or program coordination.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and engage diverse individuals.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and volunteer management software is a plus.
