About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated and driven Remote Community Advocate to champion the needs and rights of individuals within their community, all through a virtual capacity. This role is central to ensuring that community members have access to information, support services, and representation, delivered entirely online. You will utilize digital platforms to connect with individuals, provide guidance, help them navigate complex systems, and empower them to access the resources they are entitled to.

• Provide virtual support and advocacy for individuals seeking access to community services and resources.
• Assist community members in understanding their rights and navigating social support systems remotely.

• Collect feedback from community members on service delivery and advocate for improvements.
• Maintain accurate digital records of interactions, support provided, and outcomes.

• A relevant background in social work, community development, advocacy, or a related field.
• Experience in advocacy, client support, or community outreach, ideally with remote capabilities.
• Excellent virtual communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
• Proficiency in using digital communication tools, virtual meeting platforms, and online case management systems.
• Strong understanding of community needs and social support structures.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain confidentiality in a remote setting.
