Desk Coordinator - Resource Development

We are currently recruiting two Desk Coordinators to join our Resource Development and Program Implementation team.

This is a remote position open to candidates based in any Relief International country of registration between the UK and Pakistan time zones, with up to 30% travel to country programmes and field locations as required.

Relief International is an international non-profit organization that partners with communities impacted by conflict, climate change and disaster to save lives, build greater resilience and promote long-term health and wellbeing. As a key member of the Resource Development and Program Implementation team, the Desk Coordinator plays a critical role in helping Relief International secure the resources needed to deliver high-impact humanitarian and development programmes across multiple country offices.

Working closely with Desk Managers, Country Offices and technical teams, you will support donor engagement, strategic positioning and business development efforts across a diverse donor landscape that includes European donors, US Government donors, UN agencies, foundations, corporations and other institutional funding partners.

You will lead and coordinate proposal development processes from opportunity identification through to submission, ensuring high-quality, compliant and competitive proposals. This role is ideal for an experienced business development professional who enjoys working across cultures, coordinating complex proposal processes and helping programmes secure funding that creates meaningful impact in some of the world's most challenging humanitarian contexts.

This role includes the following responsibilities:

• Monitor donor trends, funding opportunities and strategic priorities, sharing intelligence and positioning opportunities with country and headquarters teams.
• Support donor engagement and strategic positioning efforts by developing concepts, pitches and funding approaches for priority opportunities.
• Lead and coordinate the full proposal development process, ensuring submissions are high-quality, timely, competitive and donor compliant.
• Coordinate proposal design workshops, consortium development processes and internal review mechanisms involving programme, finance, technical and operational stakeholders.
• Provide technical support and guidance to Country Offices on donor requirements, proposal development, budgeting and business development processes.
• Facilitate go/no-go decision-making processes and maintain accurate funding pipelines and opportunity tracking systems.
