Social Impact Officer

Our client, a forward-thinking charity based in Durban , seeks a dedicated Social Impact Officer to measure and enhance the effectiveness of their programs. You will be responsible for collecting data, analyzing outcomes, and developing compelling reports that showcase the positive change we create.

• Develop and implement frameworks for monitoring and evaluating program impact.
• Collect, manage, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data related to program outcomes.
• Prepare insightful reports, case studies, and presentations on social impact for various audiences.
• Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress against strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with program teams to ensure data collection processes are robust and effective.
• Stay abreast of best practices in social impact measurement and reporting.

• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in monitoring and evaluation (M&E) or social impact assessment.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Excellent report writing and presentation abilities.
• Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R) and Microsoft Excel.
• Understanding of the social and economic landscape of Durban.
