Community Engagement Manager

Our client is seeking a dynamic and strategic Community Engagement Manager to lead initiatives in Sandton . This role is pivotal in building and maintaining strong relationships with community stakeholders, fostering partnerships, and driving collaborative projects that benefit the local area and its residents within Gauteng . You will be responsible for developing and executing engagement strategies, representing the organization in community forums, and ensuring effective two-way communication.

• Develop and implement comprehensive community engagement strategies and plans.
• Build and nurture relationships with community leaders, residents, local businesses, and NGOs.
• Organize and facilitate community meetings, events, and consultation processes.

• Represent the organization at community events and forums.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and reporting for engagement initiatives.
• Measure and report on the impact and effectiveness of engagement activities.

• A Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Social Sciences, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in community engagement, stakeholder relations, or a similar role.
• Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing engagement strategies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of community development principles and practices in Gauteng .
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with event planning and coordination in the Sandton area is a plus.
