Community Outreach Coordinator

Our client is looking for a proactive and dedicated Community Outreach Coordinator to spearhead initiatives aimed at connecting with and supporting underserved populations in the Mossel Bay region. This role is critical for identifying community needs, developing impactful programs, and fostering strong relationships with local organizations and residents. As a remote-first position, you will leverage digital tools and communication strategies to maximize reach and engagement.

• Develop and execute outreach strategies to engage target communities and identify their needs and priorities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, local organizations, government agencies, and residents.
• Organize and facilitate community events, workshops, and information sessions, both virtually and in-person as needed.
• Coordinate the delivery of services and resources to community members, ensuring accessibility and effectiveness.
• Gather feedback from the community to inform program development and service improvements.
• Prepare reports on outreach activities, program outcomes, and community engagement metrics for management.

• Proven experience in community outreach , program coordination, or a related field.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and networking skills.
• Ability to work independently with strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficiency in using digital communication tools and platforms for outreach and engagement.
