- Develop and maintain a grant calendar, ensuring timely submission of all applications and reports.
- Cultivate relationships with program officers at funding agencies.
- Track grant awards, manage reporting requirements, and ensure compliance with funder guidelines.
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a grant writer, with a strong track record of successful funding acquisition.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Demonstrated ability to research funding opportunities and understand grant guidelines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with grant research databases.
- Experience working with non-profit organizations and a passion for their mission is essential.
