Fundraiser - Community Campaigns

Our client is seeking an energetic and results-oriented Fundraiser to join their team in Paarl , focusing on community campaigns. This hybrid role involves a blend of in-person engagement within the community and remote work for planning, communication, and reporting. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to raise funds for critical programs, cultivating relationships with donors, and engaging the local community in supporting our client's mission.

• Develop and implement fundraising strategies for various community campaigns, both online and offline.
• Identify, cultivate, and solicit donations from individual, corporate, and foundation sources.
• Organize and manage fundraising events, including planning, logistics, and execution.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential donors, ensuring excellent stewardship.
• Create compelling fundraising materials, including proposals, appeals, and presentations.
• Track fundraising progress, analyze results, and provide regular reports to management.
• Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote fundraising initiatives.

• Proven experience in fundraising or sales, preferably within the non-profit sector.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and persuasive selling skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain donor relationships.
• Experience in event planning and management is a plus.
• Proficiency in donor management software and standard office applications.
