Position SummaryThe Community Outreach Specialist is the face of School To Success in the community. This role builds partnerships with nonprofit organizations, churches, schools, and businesses; schedules School To Success Assessment Workshop presentations for their students and clients; and connects families with our Life Purpose Career Guidance program. The Outreach Specialist shares presentation results with collaboration decision-makers, invites partners to present their services to our students, and turns community relationships into enrollments that move the organization toward its 1-million-family goal.

Key Responsibilities Community Outreach & EngagementRepresent School To Success in the community. Build awareness of our Life Purpose Career Guidance program among students, families, and community members through events, presentations, and relationship building.
Schedule and coordinate School To Success Assessment Workshop presentations with partner organizations. Work with STS representatives to deliver presentations and share results with decision-makers and executive directors.
Faith & Community Organization RelationsCultivate relationships with churches, nonprofits, and community centers. Invite partner organizations to present their services to our students, creating mutual value in every collaboration.
Connect with school counselors, teachers, parents, and guardians to introduce the STS program. Help families understand how career guidance training supports student success after high school.
Maintain accurate records of contacts, presentations, partnerships, and outcomes in the CRM. Provide regular reports on outreach activity and partnership growth to leadership.
Event CoordinationPlan and support community events, information sessions, and enrollment drives. Coordinate logistics, materials, and follow-up to maximize participation and impact.
Support enrollment goals by converting community interest into registered students and families. Share feedback and ideas to continuously improve outreach strategies and materials.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, education, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in community outreach, partnership development, sales, or a mission-driven organization.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with a warm, professional presence.
- Comfortable presenting to groups and speaking with community leaders, pastors, school staff, and families.
- Strong networking skills and genuine passion for helping youth and families discover their life purpose.
- Experience with CRM systems, Google Workspace, and basic reporting.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage outreach schedules and follow-ups independently.
- Reliable transportation for community visits and events (some evenings/weekends).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
