Community Engagement Specialist

Our client is seeking a proactive Community Engagement Specialist to foster connections and build positive relationships within the Mahikeng area. This role is pivotal in understanding community needs, promoting our client’s initiatives, and facilitating collaboration with local stakeholders. You will be instrumental in designing and executing engagement strategies that ensure our services are accessible and responsive to the diverse population of the North West province.

Your work will contribute directly to strengthening community ties and enhancing service delivery.

• Develop and implement comprehensive community engagement plans and strategies.
• Organize and facilitate community meetings, workshops, and events.

• Bachelor’s degree in Community Development, Social Sciences, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Proven experience in community engagement, outreach, or program coordination.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse groups and build consensus.
• Strong understanding of community dynamics and social issues in the North West region.
• Proficiency in event planning and management, with attention to detail.
