About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Community Outreach Manager to lead their remote operations focused on the Benoni area and its surrounding communities in Gauteng . This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing outreach programs aimed at connecting with diverse community groups, identifying needs, and delivering impactful social services. You will build and nurture relationships with local organizations, community leaders, and stakeholders, fostering collaboration and expanding the reach of our client's initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a natural leader, possesses strong communication and networking skills, and is passionate about driving positive social change remotely.
- Develop and execute comprehensive community outreach strategies and plans.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, NGOs, and local government bodies.
- Organize and manage community events, workshops, and engagement activities.
- Identify community needs and gaps in services, proposing innovative solutions.
- Oversee outreach program budgets, resource allocation, and impact measurement.
- Manage and mentor a remote team of outreach coordinators and volunteers.
- Proven experience in community outreach, program management, or a related field, preferably in a remote capacity.
