Community Engagement Lead

Our client is seeking a charismatic and strategic Community Engagement Lead to foster robust connections and participation within the Mahikeng community. This role is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive engagement strategies that build awareness, support, and active involvement in the organization's mission. You will be the primary liaison between the organization and the community, building trust and fostering collaborative relationships.

• Develop and implement innovative community engagement strategies to increase participation and support for organizational initiatives.
• Organize and facilitate community meetings, forums, and events to gather feedback and build consensus.
• Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with community leaders, residents, and local stakeholders in Mahikeng .
• Create compelling communication materials to inform and inspire community involvement.
• Identify opportunities for partnership and collaboration with local groups and organizations.
• Monitor and report on engagement activities, measuring success and adapting strategies as needed.

• Proven experience in community engagement , public relations, or a related field.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.

• Experience in planning and executing events and outreach campaigns.
