Social Impact Officer - Remote

Our client is seeking a passionate and skilled Social Impact Officer to join their fully remote team, dedicated to driving positive change in communities like Stellenbosch . This role is instrumental in developing, implementing, and evaluating programs that create measurable social impact. You will work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners, utilizing data and innovative approaches to address critical community needs.

• Design and manage social impact projects from inception to completion, ensuring objectives are met and resources are utilized effectively.
• Conduct needs assessments and feasibility studies to identify key areas for intervention and program development.
• Monitor and evaluate program performance, collecting and analyzing data to demonstrate impact and inform future strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with community stakeholders, NGOs, government agencies, and corporate partners.
• Develop compelling reports, proposals, and presentations to communicate program progress and impact to diverse audiences.
• Stay abreast of current trends, best practices, and innovations in social impact and community development.

• Master's degree in International Development, Social Sciences, Public Policy, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, project coordination, or impact assessment within the non-profit or development sector.
• Proven ability to design, implement, and evaluate social impact initiatives.
• Excellent research, analytical, and data interpretation skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience presenting to various stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using project management software and data analysis tools for remote collaboration.
