Remote Social Impact Lead

This is a fully remote opportunity for a dedicated Social Impact Lead to join our client's mission-driven organization. Based anywhere in South Africa but operating primarily in the digital sphere, you will be responsible for spearheading initiatives that create positive social change. You will drive the strategy, development, and execution of programs aimed at addressing critical community needs. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of social impact principles and a passion for leveraging technology to achieve organizational goals.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, capable of working autonomously and collaborating effectively with a geographically dispersed team. You will have the opportunity to shape and influence the direction of our client's social impact efforts from the ground up, working entirely from your home office. • Develop and implement a comprehensive social impact strategy aligned with organizational objectives.
• Identify key social challenges and opportunities for intervention.
• Design and manage innovative programs and projects that deliver measurable social outcomes.
• Forge strategic partnerships with NGOs, government agencies, and corporate social responsibility departments.
• Lead and inspire a virtual team to achieve program goals.
• Oversee budget allocation and financial management for social impact initiatives.
• Track, analyze, and report on program performance and impact metrics.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in social impact and philanthropy.
• Communicate the organization's social impact story to internal and external stakeholders.

• Master's degree in International Development, Public Policy, Social Entrepreneurship, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in social impact, philanthropy, or non-profit management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Demonstrated success in designing, implementing, and scaling social impact programs.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven experience in building and managing relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent virtual communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and collaboration tools.
• Strong understanding of impact measurement frameworks and reporting.
• Ability to thrive in a remote work environment and manage time effectively.
