Environmental Program Officer

• Develop project proposals, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Engage with community groups, government agencies, and other environmental organizations to foster collaboration and support for conservation efforts.
• Monitor environmental regulations and policies, and contribute to advocacy efforts.
• Organize and facilitate workshops, training sessions, and community outreach events related to environmental awareness.
• Assist in the development and execution of fundraising strategies to support environmental programs.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
• Stay informed about current environmental challenges and innovative solutions.
• Promote best practices in sustainable resource management and conservation.

• Proven experience in environmental program management, conservation, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of environmental science, ecology, and sustainable development principles.
• Excellent project management skills, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
• Demonstrated research and analytical capabilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex environmental issues.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with GIS or other relevant environmental software is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Environmental Management, or a related discipline.
