The ideal Director of Nursing candidate is detail-orientated, organized, with strong knowledge of policies and government regulations. A passion for supporting and training stakeholders to provide the best care for residents.
How You Will Make a Difference- Manage the overall operations of the Nursing Department in accordance with company policies, nursing standards, and government regulations to maintain excellent care of all residents.
- Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct nursing services, programs and activities per current rules and regulations governing the long-term care facility.
- Assist in the development and approval of final Interdisciplinary Plan of Care for each resident in coordination with physicians, medical director, nursing staff, and external consultants, following corporate, state and federal guidelines.
- Confirm accurate completion of forms and reports for admission, transfer and/or discharge of each resident, including nursing portion of the PAE, Initial Nursing Assessment, Minimum Data Set (MDS), Resident Care Plan, and Annual MDS.
- Registered Nurse in good standing with a current state license.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in long-term care and/or acute care settings.
- Minimum of two (2) years of management/supervisory experience.
- Current/active CPR certification.
- 10,000 SIGN ON BONUS.
- BASE SALARY PLUS QUARTERLY BONUS UP TO 24% ANNUALLY.
