Bicycle Health is a telemedicine group that specializes in evidence‑based treatment of opioid use disorder using buprenorphine. We are seeking full‑time Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, working remotely across all states, to provide continuous care for adult patients via our online platform.
What You'll Do- Assess new patients presenting for telemedicine‑based care of opioid use disorder and determine appropriateness for enrollment.
- Manage the continuity of care for a panel of up to 275 adults, from initial induction through ongoing treatment.
- Diagnose opioid use disorder and co‑occurring mental health conditions.
- Safe and effective initiation of buprenorphine‑naloxone, managing early induction and stabilization with close follow‑up.
- Utilize motivational interviewing and other engagement techniques to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with the care team to coordinate additional services as needed.
- Participate actively in clinical team meetings, practice improvement, and case discussions.
- Develop a thorough understanding of practice policies, providing feedback and development.
- Use our intuitive web‑based EMR platform to manage patient care.
- Contribute to company‑wide projects and initiatives.
- Valid medical license and DEA license in your home state (and willingness to obtain licenses in additional states).
- At least 1 year of buprenorphine prescribing experience in a relevant practice environment.
- Telehealth experience is a big plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build an effective provider‑patient relationship.
- Comfort with risk/benefit balancing and a love for problem‑solving.
- Motivational interviewing experience preferred.
- Ability to share equally in on‑call needs of the region, including coverage for the 8 observed holidays.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- One weekend day required – predictable schedule that works for you.
- Choose your weekdays – consistency each week.
- 8‑hour shifts – currently only considering 8‑hour shifts.
- Stable, full‑time employment – W‑2 employee with full benefits.
- Location flexibility – work from home and from anywhere in your state.
- Limited call – most providers are on‑call once every 2–3 months (one week at a time).
- Start times vary by region (see shift details below).
- Southeast (East Coast Time Zone) – start shifts anytime between 10 am–12 pm EST, schedule remains consistent each week.
$120,000–$130,000 + Bonus Eligible. Salary determined by education, experience, skills, and market data.
