Overview

Sentara Hospital Support Services is hiring a Registered Nurse to work for the Regional Resource Pool.

- Northern VA/ Blue Ridge

Location:

Harrisonburg, VA

Multiple shifts available. This Flexi-pool / Swing Shifts offers flexible self-scheduling and PREMIUM PAY.

* Requires a minimum of 48 scheduled hours per month, Night Shift Only

* At least 1 - 12 hour weekend shift per month

* Availability to work at two or the three hospitals listed below

Hospitals
:
Woodbridge (Northern VA), Martha Jefferson (Charlottesville), Rockingham Memorial (Harrisonburg)

Residence requirement: Must reside within 75 miles of two of the three hospitals:
Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA;
Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, VA; or Sentara Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg.

The Registered Nurse is responsible to perform a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care, teaching and health promotion, and evaluation. The RN applies standards of practice and professional performance to meet the needs of the clinical areas in which they are qualified.

Education

• Registered Nurse Diploma (Required)

Certification/Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse License (Required)

Experience

• Requires minimum 18 months RECENT ED RN experience
• Requires nurses to work in all units for which they are qualified (e.g., Med/Surg, ICU, IMCU, ED) and a minimum of two different units

Sentara Hospital Support Services is hiring a Registered Nurse to work in our Resource Pool covering three hospitals:
Blue Ridge region — Rockingham Memorial in Harrisonburg and Martha Jefferson in Charlottesville;
Sentara Northern Virginia in Woodbridge.

Premium Pay and Scheduling

• Offers Premium Differential Pay, Flexible Self Scheduling (work up to full-time hours if desired)
• Only required to provide availability no more than two weeks in advance
• Minimum 48 scheduled hours per pay month; 1 twelve-hour off-shift and 1 twelve-hour weekend shift per month
• Minimum RN experience of 18 months; must work in all units for which qualified and in at least two different units
