This position requires an actively licensed and credential‑ready Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP‑BC). The role combines psychiatric expertise with compassionate care, addressing complex mental health needs while fostering collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. The psychiatric nurse practitioner will assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans that may include medication management and therapeutic interventions. This role involves regular evaluation of patients using Klarisana’s ketamine protocols and contributing to a comprehensive, holistic care model.
Qualifications- Licensure:
- Active and unrestricted Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner license for Colorado
- Valid Prescriptive Authority in the State of Colorado
- Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license in Colorado
- Certification:
- Board‑certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP‑BC)
- Active BLS required
- Experience:
Preferred experience in psychiatric medication management. Working with patients impacted by depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other conditions.
- Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and provide evidence‑based diagnoses.
- Collaborate with patients to create personalized treatment plans.
- Prescribe, monitor, and adjust psychiatric medications while educating patients on their use.
- Perform new patient intakes and evaluations.
- Work closely with therapists, physicians, and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
- Evaluate and monitor the safety and efficacy of ketamine treatments in alignment with Klarisana’s protocols.
- Support in‑clinic needs as required, administering and monitoring ketamine treatment.
- Document clinical work in a timely manner using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Stay updated on psychiatric treatments.
- Participate in clinical supervision, case consultations, and team meetings.
- Adhere to professional licensure guidelines and seek consultation when appropriate.
- Support patients during appointments, including walking them to cars or other locations if needed.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Office based and clinical setting.
- In a temperature‑controlled office environment.
- Telehealth in a private, HIPAA compliant location.
Commuting to and from clinic locations.
Job Types: Contract work 1099, Flexible schedule.
Pay: $50.00 - $100.00 per hour.
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week.
