- The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) will participate in the integrated care team model patient behavioral health practices like OMH emphasize a team approach with physicians, psychiatric nurse practitioners, licensed clinical psychologists, and licensed mental health professionals (LCSW/LPC/LMFT/LMHC).
- Customize the care for each patient. You will have autonomy to determine how often you see a patient and the length of time spent with each patient. Medication management and individual psychotherapy are the most common forms of clinical work, but clinicians also perform family therapy, group therapy, and psychological testing as needed and appropriate for a wide range of presenting problems.
- Pick your own schedule. Create custom schedules with a focus on work/life balance. Typically work Monday–Friday between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM. Focus on patient care without on-call responsibilities; back-office handles billing, collections, credentialing, etc. Clinicians are responsible for clinical care and documentation; after that, the time is yours.
- Licensure in Colorado and/or Massachusetts as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with experience with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, substance misuse, and other psychiatric impairments under the supervision of a consulting psychiatrist(s). New graduates welcome.
- Preferred: successful completion of PMHNP-BC exam(s).
