Senior Nurse Manager – Pediatric ED/Day Hospital/Hemodialysis Center (250004MA)
Under supervision of the Director, provides clinical and administrative support to staff providing direct/indirect care to patients on specific unit/units. Responsible on a 24-hour basis for the programmatic, operational and financial management of the unit/program, quality/safety, patient experience, and financial management of the assigned unit. Interviews, hires, assigns work to, and evaluates work performance of employees supervised. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital.
UnitOverview
Our Pediatric Emergency Department is a Level I Trauma and burn receiving center. The Pediatric Day Hospital provides outpatient sedation and infusion services, while the Pediatric Hemodialysis Unit offers outpatient peritoneal and hemodialysis care for children with chronic kidney conditions.
Qualifications- BSN with an active FL RN license.
- Minimum of 3 years working as an RN, including at least 2 years of recent experience in pediatric emergency and pediatric outpatient departments.
- Leadership experience with a background in strategy, operations, clinical practice, and finance.
