Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesCHI St. Vincent Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate PRN Nurse Practitioner to join our team and provide essential healthcare services within our family medicine clinics in the Little Rock area. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and adaptable NP to make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of our patients while enjoying a flexible, PRN schedule.
The Opportunity:
- PRN position with an undetermined schedule, servicing family medicine clinics in the Little Rock area.
- Provides direct, comprehensive, preventative, and therapeutic healthcare to patients and families.
- Works under the supervision and direction of the Collaborative Practice Physician.
- Performs patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatments.
- Prescribes medications as needed.
- Provides counseling and instruction to patients and families.
- Adheres to Nurse Practitioner Protocols and all regulations governing RNPs.
- Provides healthcare services for which the APN is educationally prepared and competent.
- Maintains competence in areas of practice.
- Current RNP and/or APN licensure in Arkansas. Documentation compliant with the State Nursing Board of satisfactory completion of a nurse practitioner educational program and completion of preceptorship.
- Eligibility for a Medicare provider number and DEA registration.
- Experience in APN/RNP patient care preferred.
- Preferred qualifications includes:
Occ Med, ER or Urgent Care experience
