We are seeking a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner interested in an office practice working alongside an experienced physician, assuming responsibility for patient care.

The Nurse Practitioner will treat patients from a variety of ages, although the practice is largely adolescent and adult. The NP will not treat pediatric patients.

Duties include:

Obtaining and recording client's health history
; Perform comprehensive physical assessments
; Treat both minor illnesses and chronic conditions
; Order and interpret appropriate tests
; Prescribe appropriate medications, treatments, and referrals
, Provide wellness and health education
.

Most of the NP duties will be performed in the office; however, there is an opportunity (for a full-time provider) to see patients in a nearby nursing/assisted-care facility.
