Rhode Island Urgent Care Facility is in need of an Experienced NP/PA to join their group of Board Certified Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, RN’s and administrative staff providing safe and responsible use of pharmaceutical remedies to help chronic pain patients restore function in their lives.

The population of patients includes chronic pain management as well as intervention.

The Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Asst will manage a panel of patients for chronic pain management including Opioid management.

Assessment, intervention, referral for intervention, medication review and renewal, follow-up assessment for patients post intervention, peer to peer review for authorizations, triage of symptoms.

Strong assessment skills, strong communication skills required for both patient and physician interactions.

Minimum 3 years of practice experience with prior experience in a Pain Management Clinic or Service.
