• CARE COORDINATION: Support & coordination of care for onsite/near‑site model; coordinator for community resources; collaborates for program development including onsite preventative services, primary care/specialist referrals for employees.
• WORKER’S COMPENSATION: Case management to facilitate worker’s comp process, referrals, prescriptions, scheduling studies, and return to work assessments; attend plant safety meetings, review injuries; resource for work comp guidelines; assist in documentation of work comp injury; coordinate modified duty with client supervisors & safety.
• OCCUPATIONAL MEDICINE: Evaluation of all work injury return to works; responsibility for all influenza flu events for respective facility; serve as SME for development of programs and services; collaborate with Environmental Health & Safety, Operations & HR; educate employees on safe work environment and prevention; coordinate hearing preservation program; coordinate onsite health events (mammography, blood drives, monthly health topics).
• MEDICAL MANAGEMENT: Evaluate and treat injuries, illnesses and medical conditions within nursing scope; assist in medical emergencies; take vital signs; basic wound care; give immunizations under physician orders; support medical management plans; assist in coordinating onsite EAP counseling.
• PREVENTION: Wellness campaigns (monthly) covering all shift and breakroom; identify prevention and health opportunities; promote immunizations; CPR training; attend monthly safety meetings; assist with coaching programs as needed.
• HEALTH

  Education of prevention, chronic disease and health opportunities; initial goal setting; steer into health & wellness programs, including pilots.
• ADMINISTRATIVE: Responsible for all medical supplies for occupational office; ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, CLIA & OSHA; charting within electronic health record.

• LPN license with active license in Georgia, in good standing, preferably multi‑state licensure.
• At least 2 or more years of nursing experience.
• CPR Certificate—American Heart Association.
• Ability to work independently.
• Electronic health record and computer skills required.

• Knowledge/Experience of the manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge/Experience with occupational health nursing.
• Knowledge of recordable and non‑recordable accidents.
• Bilingual in Spanish.

Hours are 7 am – 3 pm Monday – Friday, with on‑call rotation. This is a full‑time 40‑hour a week role and will split time between Occ Health and Health Center duties in Industrial Park and Dalton GA. If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10 Mbps download/5 Mbps upload.
