Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare providers.
• Conduct in-home assessments and ensure patient care meets regulatory and company standards.
• Oversee compliance with state and federal home health regulations, including documentation and reporting requirements.
• Supervise and manage the home care nursing team, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff performance.
• Provide guidance and support to nurses and caregivers to ensure the highest level of patient care.
• Manage scheduling and ensure adequate staff coverage for all home care cases.

Registered Nurse (RN) Qualification and Requirements

• Must Haves:
  • Active Registered Nurse RN License – valid and unrestricted in the state of operation.
  • Clinical Experience – 2-3 years in home health, hospice, or skilled nursing.
  • IV Infusion Therapy Expertise – Proficient in administering IV infusions, including medications, hydration, and TPN.
  • Sales & Business Development Mindset – Ability to attract and retain clients and collaborate with referral partners.
  • CPR Certification.
  • Leadership & Management – Strong ability to supervise, train, and mentor nurses, aides, and caregivers.
  • Care Plan Development – Skilled in creating and overseeing patient care plans.
  • Quality Assurance & Risk Management – Experience in auditing, incident reporting, compliance.
  • Problem-Solving & Decision-Making – Handle staffing issues, patient concerns, operational challenges quickly.
  • Reliable Car, Driver's License and Auto Insurance (Required).
  • Flexibility & Availability – Comfortable with on-call responsibilities and emergency response.
• Nice to Have:
  • Home Health or Private Duty Nursing Experience – Familiarity with Bright Star Care’s business model.

As the Home Care Registered Nurse (RN) Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the clinical operations of our home care services. This Registered Nurse Clinical Manager (RN) leader will own the overall responsibility for quality, adequacy and reliability of our home care services program – Plan of Care management, staff supervision and clinical compliance.
