We are seeking a licensed and experienced Remote Nurse Practitioner to provide limited patient care and medication management primarily via telehealth. This role does not require assuming full primary care panels or longitudinal clinic ownership. Instead, the focus is on high-quality, episodic clinical decision-making that supports patient safety, continuity of care, and our broader integrative treatment plans. There is also an opportunity for the right candidate to grow into a Medical Director + NP Clinical Oversight role, which includes additional leadership scope and compensation.

Position SummaryWe are seeking a licensed and experienced Remote Nurse Practitioner to provide limited patient care and medication management primarily via telehealth. This role does not require assuming full primary care panels or longitudinal clinic ownership. Instead, the focus is on high-quality, episodic clinical decision-making that supports patient safety, continuity of care, and our broader integrative treatment plans.
There is also an opportunity for the right candidate to grow into a Medical Director + NP Clinical Oversight role, which includes additional leadership scope and compensation.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Care & Patient Management
- Conduct virtual patient consultations via video, phone, and secure messaging.
- Perform thorough chart review, case management, and clinical history assessment to ensure safe and appropriate prescribing.
- Manage a defined scope of medications, including initiation, adjustment, refills, and monitoring.
- MIMC does not manage medications with a high risk of abuse and maintains a conservative, safety-first approach to male and female hormone replacement therapy.
- Delegate follow-up timelines, laboratory monitoring, and clinical tasks to RNs or other members of the clinical care team as appropriate.
- Provide patient education on integrative and conventional treatment approaches.
- Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation within our EHR (Charm
EHR experience preferred). - Adhere to HIPAA, Minnesota Board of Nursing, and telehealth regulatory standards.

AI, our AI-supported clinical documentation and workflow platform, to support efficient and compliant care delivery.
- Collaborate closely with clinical, nursing, and administrative teams to ensure continuity, clarity, and patient confidence.
- Participate in clinical discussions, quality improvement initiatives, and periodic team meetings.
MIMC operates under a clinic-directed continuity of care model, meaning the patient relationship is with the clinic, not an individual provider. As such, participation in covering provider workflows is an essential function of this role.
Required Qualifications- Active Minnesota APRN license (fully autonomous) in good standing.
- Active DEA license.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience (telemedicine and/or in-person).
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic reasoning, and medication management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Tech‑savvy and comfortable working in Google Suite, secure video platforms, and EHR systems (Charm
EHR preferred).
- Experience in integrative, functional, or holistic medicine settings.
- Experience supervising, mentoring, or providing clinical oversight to other providers.
- This role can be either a part‑time employee or a contractor. Hours may range from 3‑10 hours per week to start with option for advancement.
- Employee: $70‑75/hour
- Contractor: $85–$95/hour (depending on experience and clinical oversight responsibilities)
