Northwest Kidney Centers Home Program seeks a Nurse Supervisor for our Federal Way, Fife and Kent Kidney Centers
Shift: Full-time, 40 hours, day shift ), Mon-Fri. Can be 4 x 10s or 5 x 8s
The Nurse Supervisor is accountable for the oversight and support of the Home Program Care Managers in the delivery and documentation of care of Home Patients dialyzing s position provides support to Home Program Care Managers and patients and assists the Program Manager with site visits, infection review, coordinating new and on-going patient education and assessment, co-originating new staff and renal fellow orientation, coordination of department QI team.
The nurse accepts and follows the leadership from the Program Manager.
- Current Registered Nursing license in the state of Washington
- 1+ year of previous Nursing experience
- 2+ years of PD and HHD experience
- HD experience
- Involvement in appropriate professional committees
- Willingness to work with hepatitis- and HIV-positive patients following NKC recommended guidelines
- Performance of continuing education responsibilities
