• Develop and implement evidence-based practices and protocols for the Sepsis Program
• Establish and maintain relationships with regional providers, EMS systems, and other health systems
• Conduct ongoing surveillance of in-patients with sepsis or at risk for sepsis to facilitate timely interventions
• Provide ongoing sepsis education to internal and external team members
• Deliver timely feedback on care of sepsis patients to enhance learning and improve outcomes

• 3-5 years of clinical experience required
• Current RN license with the appropriate State Board of Nursing for Minnesota and North Dakota
• Must reside within the Essentia Health footprint, preferably in the Greater Duluth area
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, preferred

• Experience in developing clinical protocols and guidelines related to sepsis management
• Familiarity with quality improvement initiatives in a healthcare setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Previous experience in patient education or training roles
